2 Heaped tablespoons of lite butter or margarine
1 Tablespoon of plain flour
1 Teaspoon of crushed garlic
Salt nad White pepper
About a cup of lite milk
2 tablespoon of lite grated cheese or more.

Put a little bit of milk and mix in. Put back on heat and add a little milk at a time, stiring all the time. Use a whisk to prevent lumps. Keep using the milk till it makes a smooth thick sauce.
Pour over a oven dish of precooked vegies, like zuccini, carrots, beans, or cauliflower and sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a moderately hot oven for 15 mins or till the cheese has melted.
p.s. you can sprinke paprika over the cheese before putting in the oven. Or
mix the cheese in the sauce and use over cooked corned beef.
